Research Week for 2016 has wrapped up-an entire week of events that highlighted the excellence in research being done at the BC Centre for Disease Control. Two days of symposia presentations, plus two riveting keynote speakers, plus two great workshops, thirty posters and one reception equals an entire week celebrating BCCDC research.

The BCCDC Foundation for Public Health was proud to sponsor Research Week again this year, as well as host the reception. In a year when the topic was Public Health: Global Challenges, Local Solutions, it really brings home how vital local research being done in BC is when looking through a global lens.

If you are interested in viewing the symposia presentations, they have been recorded and you can watch them here.
