While 2025 is over, and we are looking forward to all the great things we can achieve this new year, we want to look back and reflect on all that we collectively accomplished last year. We had a more successful year than ever before, due in no small part to the dedication of our caring donors.

We spent 2025 out in the community! From having fun with the PHSA Pride team, to participating in the Vancouver Half and 5K, events at Science World, and capping off the year by sponsoring the BCCDC Research Week Global Health Security Forum, and hosting a reception afterward, we had many opportunities to meet new friends and share our message about the importance of public health.

Although she did not plan on a career in public health, Devon’s hard work over the years has made an impact on the lives of so many people seeking care in their most vulnerable times. Her dedication to personal growth has made her a role model to her peers and will leave a legacy of compassion and caring at BCCDC.

We have so much to look forward to in 2026. The Foundation is passionate about improving public health for everyone in BC and will continue to support important projects around food safety, immunization and early disease detection, equitable access to care and services, climate action, mental health, research, and knowledge translation. That is why donations are so crucial, because investing in these kinds of upstream initiatives is what takes the burden off our hospitals and health services, helping all Canadians. Please donate to help us continue this important work.
